Douglas V. Gibbs’s Constitution Classes in Southern California are an examination of the general principles and philosophies of the U.S. Constitution using the context and original language from the time period. Among the historical references are Madison’s Notes of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, the State Ratification Conventions, and other texts and written communications of the period.
The classes are appropriate for all ages. Free Pocket Constitutions are handed out to all attendees. The sessions are typically one hour in length. All classes, except the Winchester/Temecula Valley Class and online class, have a $10 per head donation request to cover expenses. Thursday’s Carlsbad Class is also available on zoom.
