It is fascinating watching the Democratic Party who is typically critical of the Constitution and State Sovereignty suddenly claim to embrace it when they believe it serves their purpose. Wrapping himself in the Constitution the Democratic Party’s national chair Ken Martin in a fiery speech argued that President Trump is acting as “a dictator in chief.” He called the current administration “fascism dressed in a red tie.” During a time when leftists are prone to violence because they’ve been convinced that they are the last ones standing in the way of a modern-day Hitler, Martin said, “We are the only thing standing in his way…Are you ready to take back our country from the wannabe king in the White House?”
With that kind of rhetoric, what kind of response from the radical lefties does he expect?
The Democrats are so bankrupt on the issues that violence is the only thing they have remaining.
False accusations and dangerous rhetoric accompanies their thinly veiled calls for violence. Any popularity that the Democratic Party may have had is slipping through their fingers, especially with younger voters who have watched the Democrats destroy their future hopes. As the Democrats bleed voters, Republican registration is on the rise, particularly in places the GOP has never really gained ground before. So, they are panicking. They have nowhere else to turn.
As a result, the violence has not let up. Unfortunately for the Democrats, the court of public opinion is watching, understanding, and does not approve of their dangerous rhetoric. While the Democrats claim their language does not incite violence, it is members of their base who tried to ram federal officers with a U-Haul van (which could have been filled with explosives, for all the Alameda Coast Guard personnel knew); their New York mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani, is not only running on a communist platform, but has been exposed as having radical ties to the most violent corners of Islamism; Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic Party’s House of Representatives leader, bashed Karoline Leavitt when she pointed out that the Democrats have been catering to pro-Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals – and these same Democrats voted against a resolution condemning Hamas following the horrific October 7th terrorist attacks while their base cheered on pro-Hamas radicals while they hijacked America’s college campuses and harassed Jewish students; Hakeem Jeffries then issued a threat against anyone associated with Donald Trump’s construction project that will replace a structurally compromised White House East Wing with a modern structurally stable and beautiful grand ballroom; the Jay Jones scandal where the Virginia attorney general candidate has faced no backlash for his violent rhetoric; in Portland the leftist-led police seem to be in cahoots with the violence of Antifa; Black Lives Matter who has also operated in violence has been exposed for taking stolen taxpayer money; Fraud by the Biden administration regarding the COVID scamdemic continues to surface; and the Democrats are now using human misery to leverage their power and to protect Obamacare’s unconstitutional provisions along with protecting benefits for illegal aliens. It’s all political suicide, and it’s all tied to the violence we are now seeing. They lost in 2016 on these stances. They lost 2024 on these stances. But when they were in power under Biden, they doubled down on their unpopular unconstitutional positions – and now they are tripling down on issues that they are on the wrong side of, and they are willing to turn to violence to keep it all going. And while they try to call President Trump the “King of America” or “authoritarian,” all of their attacks, threats and policies are tyrannical. Authoritarian. Dangerous.
The Trump administration is not blind to the madness, and in fact White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller has indicated that the administration will “dismantle” radical left-wing terror groups “one by one” in the United States, and once that happens the militant arm of the Democrats will be powerless – and with the American People wise to their deceptions and madness, it could very well spell the beginning of the end of hard-left progressive politics in the United States.
The need is immediate when it comes to stopping their tyranny and their move towards become more violent as we work our way beyond the Democrats openly cheering the death of Charlie Kirk online. These are the same inciters of violence who cheered the UnitedHealthCare CEO getting gunned down in cold blood. The violence is not an aberration. All of the mass shooters and those operating in violence in the streets have embraced Democratic Party rhetoric who claims that their opponent is fascist – therefore, in the minds of the crazies, the Republicans and Trump are worthy of being acted violently against.
But, the violent ones are not worried about the violence they are committing. They have been watching their allies who operate as judges act as allies by refusing to put them in jail and going against President Trump every possible turn. In Portland and many other locations the police refuse to arrest the violent lefties. Democrat mayors and governors are congratulating them for their violence. Violent agitators are being caught in the act beating up independent journalists and are not being arrested.
As I told an audience this Sunday Morning at a church in Fallbrook, California, it is upon us to answer the call to action, to be in the Word, and to stand firm in the storm as we face the rising tyranny.
As Christians what do we do? Do we understand that we can’t get our political house in order if we don’t get our Christian house in order? How can we fight in the public square if we are not willing to stand firm on the truth in the public square? Are we even willing to get into the public square and face the opposition in the first place?
We must remember the lesson of the storm on the Sea of Galilee.
- Mark 4:35–41 – Jesus was asleep in the storm.
- The disciples panicked; Jesus questioned their faith.
- “Peace, be still.” The storm obeyed.
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.”36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace,[a]be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How[b] is it that you have no faith?” 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”
What is the valuable lesson we must understand as Christians?
God never promised smooth sailing. He promised arrival.
Faith isn’t proven in calm moments. It’s forged in chaos, trial, and difficulties.
And when faced by the storm, we must stand firm and be doers of the Word!
James 1:22–25 – 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Don’t just hear – move. Don’t just pray – act.
