Born: October 26, 1947, Chicago, Illinois.  Democrat.  Wife of former President William (Bill) Clinton.  First Lady of the United States, 1993-2001.  U.S. Senator from New York, 2001-2009; first female to hold that office.  U.S. Secretary of State, 2009-2013.  Democrat Party Nomination for President of the United States, 2016; the first woman to achieve the milestone of being nominated for president by a major U.S. political party.  Criticized for her part in downplaying the seriousness and enormity of the Benghazi attack on September 11, 2012, falsely claiming it was provoked by an obscure video.  On January 23, 2013, when asked about the false information about the attack, Clinton screamed at the Senators questioning her, “What difference at this point does it make?”
