The Tories sought to slowly infiltrate and sabotage the American system from within, but the colonists’ willingness to tar and feather them kept the Tories from being anything more than British insiders who ultimately lost America to the Patriots fighting for independence. The Tories later sought to infiltrate the American System and sabotage it within, but strict immigration laws and the recognition of the threat held them at bay.

The long game has always been the tool of those seeking to undermine America. The big-government politicians of the earliest years realized their chance to control America had fallen short when President Thomas Jefferson defeated them in 1800, his Republicans took control of both Houses of Congress, and Jefferson fired half of the federal bureaucracy. But they held onto a significant lever of power in the courts, using the judiciary throughout the first half of the nineteenth century to lay political landmines and prepare the fledgling country for the day their plans would come to fruition.

The Fabians after the Reconstruction Period capitalized upon the rise of federal supremacy launched by the Lincolnian Republicans, and the Progressives got their foot in the White House door through Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson.

The authoritarians nearly took complete control during the FDR years, and while losing their momentum, they still waved a powerful tyrannical stick under Truman and Eisenhower. President John F. Kennedy’s anti-communist and pro-American plans nearly derailed the anti-liberty cancer that had been growing for over a century and a half in American politics.

Lyndon B. Johnson kicked the whole thing back into high gear, and Jimmy Carter almost closed the deal, but then a stick in their spokes named President Ronald Reagan set back their plans again. The big-government establishment and globalist Marxists joined forces more than ever after Reagan, nearly getting what they wanted when Barack Obama became the setup man for fundamentally changing America in a way the Founders never intended. Hillary Clinton was to be the closer to finally get that pesky thing called American liberty out of their hair and fully usurp the Constitution as Alexander Hamilton had originally intended over two centuries before.

Then, a freight train came down the tracks and crushed the whole damned thing. Donald J. Trump put his mighty hand in the air like a massive center on a basketball court and rejected the shot that could sink America. A frantic gasp emerged in 2020 with a four-year interruption through Joseph Biden, but now President Trump has regained the reins, and America’s enemies are in frantic panic.

The enemies of America, be they communist, progressive, Islamic, or WOKE, have been patient and relentless. All have aimed to destroy America’s free society from within. Patience. Infiltration. A slow corruption of its institutions. In the beginning, they were careful to hide their intentions, following the slow-boiling frog recipe, but now they openly embrace democratic socialism and America’s other enemies who march around waving the green, black, white, and red flags of Islam.

As revealed by Yuri Bezmenov in 1984 during an interview with G. Edward Griffin, the enemy uses a four-stage process of ideological subversion: demoralization, destabilization, crisis, and normalization. They educate younger generations inside a corrupted academic framework, alter their perception of reality, dismiss truth as hate speech, misinformation, or the ravings of extremists, and then, in the name of saving democracy, lead them to vote into office the very tyrants the system was created to avoid.

It’s a patient method that only needs time, and it seems to be working intermittently, but as stated before, champions of liberty keep setting them back just when they believe they’ve got everything in place. The society that’s supposed to reward dependence keeps clinging to its value of meritocracy. Reason keeps fighting off the excesses of emotional lunacy. The mechanics of ideological subversion can’t seem to push aside the values of a Christian foundation that embraces individualism, liberty, and a free market. While designed to unravel America from the inside out, opponents of socialist collectivism keep fighting off the final blows and attempted knockout punches.

President Trump was correct when he said they are after you, but he stands in the way. The attacks against him, the hatred leveled at him, and the attempts to do anything they can to stop him are not about him. They are about us. They are actually targeting us. Trump is simply bearing the brunt of the attacks during his presidency. They need to defeat him so they can work on defeating us.

Our way to fight this is simple. Recognize the folly of collectivism. Champion individual reason, achievement, and liberty, for these are the foundations of American prosperity. To be successful, we need to recognize the attack and battle it head-on. The progressive left’s attempt to hammer into place the final nails of their socialist dreams is a real and present danger, executed after a couple centuries of institutional patience. We simply have to disallow their final push. Embrace morality. Embrace liberty. Embrace limited government and constitutional principles that exist to secure our natural rights and protect the rule of law. The Founding Fathers gave us everything we need to win this, but the Constitution is only ink and paper if we don’t fight to preserve it.

Politics is not a spectator sport. The winners are those who are willing to go to battle on the field.
