Bill O’Reilly, a former FOX News host, played a video that appeared on TikTok that had gone viral among the lefty anti-Trump crowd. It depicts a scene on an airplane, with what appears to be an ICE agent standing next to the flight attendant, speaking to passengers and requesting that Juan Garcia come to the front of the plane. The alleged federal agent says in the video that the aircraft will not be allowed to take off until the individual makes himself known and is taken into custody by the alleged ICE agent. The video then has an unseen passenger asking, “since when” is ICE allowed on planes to take custody of people, and the person playing the agent says, “because I have this badge on.” The “agent” is masked, and a female passenger then asks, “can we see your face” and “see identification,” with both requests denied by the agent as he walks up the aisle searching for his “victim.”
Mr. O’Reilly then states that after that video “dropped,” he got all kinds of texts from “liberal friends” saying, “See! See! See!” Bill says on his show that he responded to his friends, “Let me check this out.”
“It’s a phony,” exclaims O’Reilly on his internet program. “They’re actors. It’s a set that they used; they had to spend money on. This was a complete phony. No disclaimer that we could find. None! Just threw it on up. Millions of people believe it was true. Including – and I mean among my friends who texted me – are journalists, sophisticated people.”
According to a video by Politifact, the publishers of the video on TikTok have posted a number of skits and prank videos in the past, including some on the same airplane set. A number of the actors in the ICE agent video appear in other skits. The set has been identified as a product of the company “Network Media.” While ICE agents are indeed at airports right now to help with the TSA shortage, thanks to the Democrat DHS Shutdown, those agents are not operating in those airports in their immigration enforcement capacity, and there are no reports of ICE agents pulling people off of planes. With the ID requirements to even get on a plane in the first place, such a scenario would be very unlikely, anyway.
The problem for the liberal progressive Democrat Party-loving Left is that their narrative machine can’t find examples of the things they claim Trump, MAGA, or anyone else they claim is guilty of – so, they have to manufacture it. They don’t want you to see or know the context of things, so they post things that are likely real without the context, or they produce something fake, like the video in question, to elicit an emotional response. Since conservatives aren’t the violent fascists the lefties believe them to be, finding proof is hard to come by. So, as with pretty much everything else that comes from their ideology, deception becomes a major tool.
The thing about lying is that usually, to cover lies, you need to lie more, and eventually it all catches up to you. Plus, typically, when parts of real videos are put online by lefties making certain claims, or when something is produced as the TikTok video O’Reilly discussed, the people behind the scams are just careless enough to leave all kinds of clues about how fake the meme, video, or claim is.
The deceptive attacks reveal what the left is really all about. They need everyone to believe that Trump and his administration are fascist, white supremacists, and since in real life they can’t catch Trump or his personnel acting in the racist manner they seek, they have to find a way to produce it deceptively. Even more alarming is the fact that the Left’s ideological colleagues, like Joe Biden, have a long record of making racist comments. Of course, none of those truths has any place in the Left’s argument because it doesn’t fit the agenda of their anti-Trump narrative.
Truth is, when faced with the truth, and when it is pointed out to these lunatics in a setting where they can’t depend on deceptive tools at their fingertips, they can’t come up with one actual fact to defend their hatred for Trump, his supporters, or anything that is in line with the Republican Party platform, other than they disagree with their opponents’ stance on things.
It’s basically gotten to the point that they’ve been lying so long that they have even gotten to the point where they believe their own B.S., but can’t explain exactly why.
