Rahm Emanuel once said, “Never let a crisis go to waste.” But, what if there are no crises? What if the economy is booming, bad trade agreements have been re-worked to the advantage of the U.S., taxes are lower but revenue is up, dictators are backing off and coming to the negotiation table, unemployment numbers are so low and growth is so high that there are more job openings than the number of people looking for work, and none of it is the result of liberal left policies or personnel? What do you do if you are a hard left Democrat faithful?
You create crisis, of course. And that is what the Democrat Party has been up to.
A crisis of racial division, and a division of “protected groups” against mainstream America was created and is being fostered by the Democrats specifically for the purpose of dividing and conquering.
But, it turns out that was not enough for them to force their agenda into place permanently, and forever kill any opposition to their socialist plans for America.
Feminism has always worked to create a divide between the sexes, and any dissent to their plans is considered sexist and misogynistic. In California, to hammer down harder on this issue, the Democrats have put a quota system in place. The new law requires corporate boards to consist of up to half female members by 2021. Companies, in response, are fleeing California, and women are angry because while the Democrats claim the law is designed to assist women in the workplace, it’s demeaning, fails to recognize the strides women have already accomplished, and it basically sends the message to women that Democrats believe they are too weak or incapable without the assistance of government to move up in the corporate world.
The law is also discriminatory against men.
If government believes it is its job to intervene and break up male-dominated occupations, why not female-dominated ones as well?
Should government force schools to hire more male teachers? Should government mandate that men make up half of hospitals’ nursing staffs?
The average person’s first answer would be, “No, that’s ridiculous.”
Trump has responded, “The assault on our country at our Southern Border, including the Criminal elements and DRUGS pouring in, is far more important to me, as President, than Trade or the USMCA. Hopefully Mexico will stop this onslaught at their Northern Border. All Democrats fault for weak laws! … I am watching the Democrat Party led (because they want Open Borders and existing weak laws) assault on our country by Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, whose leaders are doing little to stop this large flow of people, INCLUDING MANY CRIMINALS, from entering Mexico to U.S … In addition to stopping all payments to these countries, which seem to have almost no control over their population, I must, in the strongest of terms, ask Mexico to stop this onslaught – and if unable to do so I will call up the U.S. Military and CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER! … Republicans must make the horrendous, weak and outdated immigration laws, and the Border, a part of the Midterms!”
In short, Trump is saying the crisis is the fault of the Democrats, which it is. But, they want the crisis. They need the crisis. They desire that the Trump administration is forced into a corner, and then for the Democrats to call him heartless no matter what decision he makes.
I’ve even heard that some Democrats are saying his threat of reducing aid to, or putting in place sanctions regarding, countries that are not controlling their populations is even a horrible thing, because it worsens the conditions in those countries . . . as if their horrible situation as a country is somehow the fault of the United States, even though it was those countries who decided to pursue socialism, and failed economic policies.
The cartels’ labor-trafficking business is providing them with billions of dollars in revenue, partly because the catch-and-release process allows migrants to get work in the United States and pay off their debts. But that huge movement of cheap labor — at least 400,000 work-permits in 2017 — is clipping wages for blue-collar Americans, including many Democratic voters.
In the end, the Democrats love the “migration” crisis, and are weaponizing it against the GOP.
But, none of it has worked.
