I don’t know how many illegal aliens are coming here for a better life, and how many are coming here with crime in their heart.  I don’t know what percentage of illegal aliens are sick with diseases that we would rather not have walking down the street in our country.  I don’t know how many of them are drug runners, gang members, or rapists.  There may even be some Islamic terrorists mixed into the illegal alien population.  It may be a high percentage, or it may be a low percentage.  But, the reality is, the people who are a danger to our country do exist among the ranks of illegal aliens.  Therefore, it is common sense to ask the tough questions, and to take the actions necessary to protect our country from that undesirable element.  That is the reason we have immigration laws.  We want to vet who comes in.  It’s not much different than one’s front door.  When someone knocks, you vet them on the porch before you let them in, or send them away.  And if someone breaks in through the window, you don’t automatically call them family because you have a big heart, and figure they only broke into your house because they are looking for a better life.

On Facebook I came across the following …

From investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson

–“And the number of illegal immigrants committing serious crimes in the U.S. is staggering in terms of scope and cost. According to the newest figures from the Government Accountability Office: one in five federal prison inmates are criminal aliens. The vast majority of them—91%— are from Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia and Dominican Republic. A Full Measure analysis of government figures finds: Over six years, more than 730-thousand criminal aliens were in U.S. prisons or local jails. They accounted for 4.9 million arrests for 7.5 million offenses: More than a million drug crimes. More than 663-thousand assaults, sex offenses and kidnappings. 33-thousand homicides. And 1,500 terrorism related crimes. In terms of cost—federal taxpayers [not counting state and local taxpayers] shelled out more than $15 billion dollars— or $2.5 billion a year— to keep criminal aliens behind bars.”

ALL of the victims of these #IllegalAlien criminals would have been spared if the politicians had enforced America’s immigration laws.

YET,

In Congress, all of the Dems and enough Reps are blocking funding and laws to stop #IllegalImmigration and to #SecureTheBorder. This is despite the #IllegalAlien crime wave and despite 90%+ of the drugs that killed more than 70,000 Americans in 2017 alone, cross the unsecured southern border.
Here in California, the #SacramentoDems passed #SB54 that protects #IllegalAlien criminals. But 40 cities, 14 counties and 40 sheriffs have opposed #SB54 because they put protecting Americans first.

In the Inland Empire of California, the city councils in Redlands, San Bernardino and Riverside have refused to take a position on #SB54 because majorities on those city councils favor protecting #IllegalAlien criminals and probably favor #IllegalImmigration.

The truth is that the #RulingClass, Dem and Rep, favor #OpenBorders and mass legal and illegal immigration. The Dems want to stack the voting deck and Rep donors want #CheapLabor. They care not one iota about to cost and effect of their policies on American taxpayers, American workers, American children, American victims of crime and American victims of illegal drugs.

To stop this madness and protect America and Americans, we need to elect more Reps to help President Donald J. Trump and stop #IllegalImmigration.

Are the numbers as staggering as they seem?

If they are, why are there people out there calling for open borders?

One wonders.

I am pro-immigration.  My wife is an immigrant.  But, I do not believe that throwing open our border for all to cross is a smart thing.  The reality is, there are people out there who wish to use that opportunity against us.  In many ways, we are being invaded.

I don’t lock the door of my house because I hate everyone on the outside, but because I love everyone on the inside.  The reality is, out there exists people who want to cause us harm.  I only ask that we lock the door, and use a vetting process (immigration procedures) to make sure we are only getting those who wish to make America great, and assimilate into our society not just for the better life, but because they want to be Americans.
