Orwell’s Democrat Party

The Democrat Party believes in ushering in the age of Big Brother.  They have been trying to get into play legislation that dictates how much water you use, how much soda you may drink, that you comply with their demand that you breast-feed your children, that you may not use plastic straws or reusable plastic grocery bags (unless you have special permission), you may not smoke tobacco but getting high on weed should be legal and encouraged, and that the news you hear and the education you receive is properly and meticulously adjusted to only support the party.

Even the President of the United States is not allowed to challenge the supremacy of the media.

Sex, as in Orwell’s 1984, is also a tool being used to dismember the fabric of our moral society.  Sexuality, lifestyle, and even the choice of one’s biological sex, is being manipulated and deconstructed to fuel the rise and popularity of the leftist mechanism, while also systematically disassembling the liberal left’s primary foe, the religious institutions of this country.

The legalization of marijuana runs in line with Orwell’s Victory Gin, Victory Wine, Victory Beer, Victory Coffee, and Victory Tobacco.  The Soviet Union used vodka.  If they keep you numb enough, you won’t care if you are being controlled, and you’ll be too high to fight back.

BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU.  Winston, and his fellow citizens of Oceania were constantly reminded that the government was happy to not only practice a parental nature that persons like John Locke, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison warned against, but that the authoritarian nature of the government was deserving of a position beyond that of God.  As in Orwell’s world of fiction, People in today’s society are being watched, manipulated, taught, and controlled through any means available to the leftwing factions of government and society.  Sex, drugs, censorship, language (political correctness is definitely our version of New Speak), and various other well-placed and carefully coordinated distractions.

In Orwell’s dystopian world even the very language people use in their daily conversations is changed through the banning of certain words.  Violations, in Orwell’s world, are considered to be “thought crimes.”  History has been altered, in 1984.  The statues have been toppled, and the books have been rewritten.

In our current modern society we have restricted language with political correctness, installed safe zones, we have a media rewriting the news as the education industry rewrites history, and as a result we have a new reality rising that places patriotism as being hateful and fascist, and fascism and socialism as being a preferred goal (though under a whole different name . . . progressivism).

But, it goes way beyond language being manipulated into a tool of control.  Humanism and the use of psychology has been blended to manipulate our emotions and create rage against enemies that may, or may not, truly exist.  The opposition has been labeled racist, fascist, misogynistic and bigoted, despite lack of true evidence, and a manipulation of those terms (Hegelian Dialectic?).  They seek a totalitarian empire, but one the people yearn for and welcome due to fears of the opposition that have been created by the very political party seeking to take complete control.  Liberty has become slavery and tyranny.  Free speech has become hate speech.  Protection of a citizen’s privilege to vote has become considered to be a suppression of the vote.  Invaders are given sanctuary.  Moral standards have become immoral, and moral deviation has become virtuous.

The resemblance of “The Party” in Orwell’s book, “1984”, and the lessons provided in “Animal Farm” have been lost in the noise, and I am figuring the next step the Democrats will be pushing for will be to follow Ray Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451”, and begin burning all books that disagree with the liberal left perspective.

When that day comes, copies of Orwell’s “1984” will probably flap on the top of the heap of banned literature like fiery pigeon wings.  The liberal left progressive overlords will make sure that its pages simply float away into the night sky like burning embers in a wildfire, destroyed forever.  And then, it will later reappear, rewritten when the E-Book becomes available again, with a slight change in who the evil villains are … likely recasting the defenders of the U.S. Constitution as the villains and tyrants.

Such are the dreams of Democrats like Pelosi, Schumer, Gavin Newsom, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, and Ocasio-Cortez.
