During the early morning hours of New Years Day, while revelers were still in the streets greeting 2025, the consequences of an open border (true, the attacker was a native born U.S. Citizen, but I believe influences possibly by terrorists who may have come into the country or have not been properly monitored because of our refusal to call Islam what it is, may have been partially behind the attack), not taking Islam at its word (which gets us back to that refusal to recognized Islam as a dangerous ideologyz), and allowing Democrats to run things exploded into reality. A Muslim named Shamsud Din Jabbar, a donor to the Democratic Party who carried an ISIS flag in his truck as he wore full military gear including body armor, rammed his vehicle into the crowd. After plowing through the collection of stunned human beings, he jumped out of the vehicle and opened fire, targeting police in addition to any survivors from his heinous act. Fifteen people are being reported as dead, so far, and thirty-five people were transported to area hospitals suffering injuries from the attack.
In line with the leftwing narrative which is geared to lie if they have to in order to protect the narrative that denies the horrific truth about Islam’s violent foundation of their political ideology, the FBI originally said that the horrific attack was not a terror attack in the name of Islam. The FBI, however, has changed direction when it comes to their investigation, and are now considering it a terror attack. They also believe that Jabbar did not act alone; at least four to five other suspects were involved in the planning and execution of the terror attack. These terrorists may have also planted explosives throughout the French Quarter in New Orleans. In an interesting plot twist, barriers that are typically in place to keep traffic off of the Bourbon Street were not up, and if they had been the attacker’s vehicle would not have been able to target and plow into the crowd. The Sugar Bowl, a college football game that will also serve as a playoff game between Georgia and Notre Dame and was originally supposed to be played on New Years Day, has been postponed until January 2nd despite the stadium being declared bomb-free after a full sweep.
The most unsettling part about the whole thing to me is that now we have experts trying to figure out how and when Jabbar became “radicalized.” While, despite the teachings of Islam, there are peaceful Muslims, the problem when it comes to Islam is not that some people become “radicalized.” Islam IS radical. It teaches violence, it teaches world domination, and it teaches hatred for Israel, the United States, Jews, and Christians. Islamists don’t become radicalized, for radicalism is the norm for Islam. In short, those who do not act in a radical terroristic kind of way are not someone who has not been radicalized; they are either bad Muslims because Islam in its nature is radical, or they are good Muslims who have decided it is not their time to strike…yet.
Islam is on the march, and I believe we will be seeing more events like what happened in NOLA on New Years Day is we don’t take the threat of Islam seriously.
