The circle is complete, and the pendulum has swung, and it smacked the Democrats so hard that it knocked them off of the whole pedestal.
The Democrats have been using Cultural Marxism since before any of us were born. The socialists infiltrated our political parties all the way back in the 1890s when the Fabians began to influence American politics which coincidentally coincided with the rise of the Progressive Era. Both parties were “progressive,” with Republican Theodore Roosevelt accepting the mantle as the first truly progressive President of the United States. Over the next couple decades the Republican Party moved back towards the free market and the Constitution, so the Marxists concentrated more heavily on the Democratic Party. As the Soviet Union emerged, and certain factions in the United States hand-in-hand with globalists and other anti-Constitution factions joined together to fully take over the Democratic Party it became apparent that in order to gain power the leftwing would need to play identity politics and convince certain groups through class warfare that only the Democratic political machine was in their corner.
The Civil Rights Era emerged in the sixties, and by the time the dust settled the black population had been moved from a 95% membership in the Republican Party to accepting affirmative action, growing dependent upon the Great Society welfare offerings, and ultimately in our day and age falling for the diversity, equity and inclusion tactic.
In the sixties the argument carried a certain amount of weight because indeed there were many examples of historic racism, oppression of blacks in certain segments of American Society, and the lingering echo of slavery and Jim Crow laws. Segregation, whether pushed on blacks from outside sources, or a decision they made for themselves, was indeed essentially the rule, not the exception.
Equality of opportunity was indeed an obstacle that still needed to be hurdled in most cases. While there were not statutes that technically created the problem, culturally they were present. So, things like affirmative action emerged, and while the concept was never actually law, quotas were definitely present — especially when it came to the rulings by the courts.
Black Lives Matter emerged, and in a true Hegelian Dialectic manner, they saw racism everywhere whether it existed or not and proclaimed that the victimization of their people (which was and larger number than those who were members of the black population at this point) could only be vindicated if DEI was put into place and white people were forced not to be racist by bowing down, apologizing, being stripped of their white privilege, and emasculated. Everywhere, they saw trigger warnings and microaggressions. Safe Spaces began to spring up on college campuses. The construction site was in full swing, and the social engineering corps was busy building a permanent victimized class with economic elements added.
Then, the house of cards fell. Donald Trump denied identity politics and called us all Americans. Let’s make the economy stronger as a team, together, as Americans, he proclaimed. Diversity hiring was a failure, and he pointed out that reality; calling for a merit-based society. Who cares what your skin color or ethnic ancestral home was; are you an American and are you the best qualified for the job?
The DEI attempt to breathe life into the sixties and then ramp it up with wokeism was ridiculous, and Donald Trump was not afraid to say so. While the Democrats and their lefty allies were trying to separate Americans into groups with identity politics, and push their Marxist binary between oppressors and the oppressed, Trump revealed that stuff happens not because of the color of one’s skin but because stuff happens. Victims exist, and rather than focus on their victimhood, let’s fix it. East Palestine, North Carolina, and so forth were situations with victims, but the situation wasn’t because of white skin, or brown skin, or black skin, but because things happen and as Americans it is our task to work together for the sake of America — not some identity group that is based on skin, ethnicity or who you sleep with.
President Donald Trump’s common-sense view of reality resulted in a historic surge of support from groups that would not normally vote GOP; especially when it came to black men. Men in general have stood against the emasculation of the male counterpart of society, and simply care for one thing: will this administration ease the burden of surviving? Will prices come down? Will jobs be available? Will energy prices become more reasonable? Trump was elected, and Americans in general now feel more optimistic about the country’s future.
Now that’s REAL hope and change.
Meanwhile, Democrats are upping the ante on their attacks, doubling down on what defeated them. Rather than care about the questions that matter, they are continuing their Trump Derangement Syndrome tactics and their obsession with identity politics. In their narcissistic arrogance, they actually believe that is how to regain the voters they lost. The general public could care less about the games of the Democrats.
More voters have swung towards problem-solving rather than the victimization game. They support Trump’s ideas, his limited government attitude that seeks to down-size the federal government and reduce government spending on unconstitutional and woke-influenced things. They want the border secure, they want their families safe, and they want the government worrying about the things the government is supposed to be concerned with, not doing what they can to promote drag shows, child genitalia mutilation surgeries, or making sure a certain amount of people from a certain group fills the ranks of a type of profession regardless of merit.
And, Americans recognize that the enemies of America exist out there, and a strong America with a strong economy, a strong border, and a President that is willing to be firm with our enemies (like China, Iran, and Mexican Cartels) is what it will take for America to continue to lead, innovate, and prosper.
As a result, the pendulum has swung. The GOP has gained traction among various minority voter groups, including black and Hispanic. The Democratic Party’s message is crumbling, nobody believes them anymore, and since they can’t win in the arena of ideas their only choice is to do what they’ve always done; target, scream, play identity politics and try to create class warfare. Except, that doesn’t do anything anymore. Americans have awakened to the reality that all the Democrats are are a bunch of screaming class warfare commies.
The Democrats have ticked off Americans, and unless they can find a different generation to believe their lies, the party may never be able to recover… or at least that’s my hope.
